Gorgeous Nazli was brought to Nowzad in September 2023 by her very sad owner who was due to leave Afghanistan for good. Rather than abandon Nazli to a life on Kabul’s streets, Nazli joined our pack of rescue cats in our purpose-made cat room at the hospital.

Although she hadn’t known life with other cats before, Nazli is very sociable and immediately hit it off with a cat named Pippo. The two of them have been inseparable ever since. Coincidentally Pippo is exactly the same colouration as Nazli – we’ve even wondered whether they are long-lost siblings perhaps?!

Nazli is quite prone to skin conditions but thankfully is in the best place for that now – with our vet clinic just footsteps away from where she lives!  She is a very energetic and noisy little girl and will demand cuddles from anyone visiting the cat room. Nazli is also very demanding when it comes to boiled chicken – her absolute favourite treat!
