Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

TOMMY

Tiny now renamed Tommy was a small pup when saved from a horrible fate by one of our vets in Kabul and thankfully made it home on the Ark. this adorable boy was a great deal bigger when he finished his quarantine and straight away he was quick to learn with his lead training. Tiny really struck gold when he was adopted and is living the best life ever, making lots of friends and never fails to steal the hearts of all who meet him. He is absolutely loved by his new family and through all his adventures never stops smiling - if there was a competition for smiliest boy - he would win. Thank you so much to his new family for loving him and giving him a life we always dreamed of for him. We love seeing his updates.

Please consider making a donatation to help another donkey or horse receive the treatment they all so desperately need. Thank-you for caring.
