Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

SAMMIE

Adorable Sammie was one of our pups that travelled home on The Ark. Her adopters were looking for a young dog and this lucky little girl struck gold! She has really settled into life with her fabulous family and this is what they say…….’We are all loving having Sammie. She is great fun, always up to mischief but it is lovely to see her progress’
Apparently Sammie has now discovered beach life is fun too. Thank you to her family for loving her and making her life so very happy. It’s a total joy to see her adventures and updates and warms our hearts. Happy days ahead for you now darling girl.
