Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

PEANUT

This comedic little fella has really landed on all his paws with his new family and has settled down so well. His new family say…..

"He has a new name, Klaus, with an extension of ‘the king of chaos’ as he causes havoc!! He is very vocal, a complete dare devil ( frequently sits on the high ledges in the stairwell taunting the dogs!!) but fits in so well with our family. He adores our eldest & has bonded closely. He is much loved. Thank you for letting us adopt him……”

We really could not be happier for this ginger fluff ball who kept us all entertained in quarantine. Thank you to his new family for giving him a fantastic safe home. Look forward to hearing all your adventures dear lad.
