Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

LAMMY

Our beautiful older girl Lammy really struck gold when she went to her new family. From their first day together it was clear that Lammy had found her perfect home. We have seen her blossom over the last few months and this is what her new Mum has to say ….

‘Lammy is known as the cuddle monster or polar bear when she has been digging one of her favourite pass times - loves cuddles and being with her humans, she shakes with excitement when going for a walk and jumps up for cuddle . loves her free runs and is like a rocket. After busy day goes fast to sleep on her mums bed…’

We think you’ll agree that Lammy is one very happy girl and we love seeing her living the dream especially having so much fun on those family holidays. Thanks to her amazing Mum for everything.
