Rae was one of the unadoptables from the Ark. Rather than face her life in kennels Jen the adoptions manager with the Ark animals took her on & worked with her tirelessly to try to help her cope with life outside of a kennel environment. She now lives happily with Ark dog Dakota, Jen & her husband though the resident cats keep their distance sensibly. Rae also developed a tumour whilst in kennels and although successfully removed the prognosis was not good long term. However, as we write this she is defying the odds and in palliative care living a happy & active life in the UK countryside. Rae is the sweetest girl but sadly she lets very few people into her circle of trust. Her days are full of play, squirrel watching & life is at last happy & peaceful  for this beautiful girl as she enjoys her golden era. Oh & by the way we discovered she loves a cuddle before bedtime!
