Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

C4 & Mama

C4 & Mama are two lucky boys who really hit gold when they were adopted together. This pair are full of beans and certainly keep their family both entertained and on their toes! They have joined a family with 4 other cats and since moving in have worked out and taught the resident cats how to open locked a cat flap and there is never a dull moment with these two. Their new family say…..They climb on everything including our clothes when they on are the clothes aired…..and when we are wearing them! They are so naughty but adorable. I think you’ll agree that these two gorgeous boys are living the dream. Thank you to their new family for loving them and giving them the best life.
