Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

BUTCH CAT

Our older boy Butch really struck gold when a family came along looking for a senior cat to share their home. From the moment they met Butch he felt loved and settled quickly into his new life. These days he spends his life exploring the countryside or curled up in his favourite chair. He never wanders far from his lovely adopters and on a rainy day acts as a dutiful office assistant! He is so cherished and dearly loved and has been one lucky fella to find his purrfect home. This gentle kitty so full of character never fails to bring a smile to their faces with his antics and feline charms. We are so grateful to his family for loving him so much and giving him a dream life.

Please consider making a donatation to help another donkey or horse receive the treatment they all so desperately need. Thank-you for caring.
