Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

Boots

Boots was our little one eyed kitty that hit the jackpot when she was adopted by a family with other special needs kitties. This adorable gentle girl has settled down with her new family, loves sharing sleep time with her adopted feline siblings and playing with her young human and her toys. She particularly loves to help with gardening chores and happily stays close to her humans when garden time comes. Boots really has found her own permanent ray of sunshine to live on and we are so happy to see her live the life she deserves. Thank you her loving family. We love to see her so content.
